hey myself and a bunch of buddies are heading down this weekend taking the car if i can get it ready in time don't know ya but if ya want we might be able to shove the bike in the trail iam taking it because the 7 will more than likely break again lol

We haven't decided where to meet up yet, so I'll throw something out there.
I'm thinking I69 exit 105.
I think the Menard's parking lot would be an easy spot for all of us to get out to the interstate without traffic seperating us.
Also, there's a shell gas station there for us to top off before we go.

a combination of a previously blown primary turbo (swapped it out for a used set) then not even a week after getting her running after that it blew a water seal. that's why it's in for rebuild, and they just let me know that my wastegate and precontrol were both stuck in wide open, causing the secondary turbo to spool faster and overboost, at times 20+psi. also the secondary turbo's BOV vacuum line was unhooked.

Sounds a fine place to meet to me too. The only thing that sucks is that week is Fall break on monday and tuesday, and wednesday I have classes from 3-9pm that I will have to skip... But its all good.

Sorry guys, I can't make it.

First off, I can't take off of work (always concerned the building will burn down).

Secondly, I yanked the tranny this week, as I thought it had an issue. Turned out to be a problem with the shifter. Doh. No biggie, but I haven't gotten around to putting it back in, as it's cold as crap outside and I'm not going to drive it in this anyway.

for those that were asking what caused the engine blowout, i just got the pictures from elaine....

she said the smoke hung in the shop for a good minute just from backing it into the shop lol

 

she said chris was working on pulling chunks of my impeller out of my intercooler

 

holy crap!!!
I'd suggest buying a new intercooler.
You're begging for trouble if you use that old one.

 

im **** i would replace oil coolers too... just in case something made it down the oil return
