Feed back on A-spec tuning in Schaumburg, IL

i was thinking about having my brother take my car there. mainly to fix my JDM swap issues. since i am anable to work on it due to the distance. i see they do a lot of FD stuff however how are they with 2nd gen stuff?

I would prolly call them. Since i have never personally inquired as to the services they perform or don't, i can't really say whether or not they do work on FC's.

I believe Sean, atleast i think thats his name, frequents these boards often and is a great contributor to sourcing and performing work/tuning with Turbo RX7's. So at this point your best best is a phone call.

You can also take it to Shookmotorsports. Ryan is a good guy & I know that he will take care of your car troubles. Also he is about a hour away from Elkhorn, WI.

A-spec is a great shop! I have seen a few 2nd gens at there shop but yes they do mostly work on FD's.

From what sean told me a few weeks back he closed down the shop and will be doing smaller fab work once he get everything situated . He also mentioned that he will still be offering dyno services. As far as full engine installs and full blown swaps I don't think he will be doing that anymore since he did mention something about having back issues . But don't quote me .
