a boost controller isnt going to help with boost creep on the twins. you need to port the wastegate or put a cat back on. I can install the boost controller.

you say boost creep huh? Im not sure exactly what that is, IM just trying to eliminate the possibility of over boosting again. Please explain boost creep for me if you could, Im getting my car this back this weekend, and going to try and install my pettit ecu, and my boost controller.

Boost creep happens when you have a wide open exhaust. The waste gates on these cars are small and have a hard time opening allowing the turbos to make more boost. If you have a pettit ecu you should have enough fuel to keep things under controll but watch your boost levels it it starts to go over 12psi you could be running into trouble. You should of got a Power FC to start they have a boost controll funtion built in for the twins.

Also you will need a bigger fuel pump if you dont already have one.

well i was looking into buying a PFC but it seemed like when i needed no one could get new or used, but now i see them all over used. Just my damn luck...

but hopefully the pettit ecu will do me untill i do a single turbo upgrade in the future. But i do have another question for. I talked to pettit racing and they said that there ecu is good for 14psi, are they exaggerating? Cause i was hoping running 12psi, but when ever the momnet requires it to run upto 14. I hope that they werent over selling there product. Thanks

They can run at 14 psi but you have a very rich idel and a close to lean top end. They burnt the ecu to do 14 psi on the stock injectors and that if running them on the raged edge in a high duty cycle. If I was you I would be looking for some injectors and a power FC very quickly. If you want to run that psi.

Well it sounds like you know what your talking about, so im not going to chance that.
I guess ill just install my profec 2 and keep it all at 12psi for a couple of months, until
i get the rest of the equipment. I should be getting my car back today, I will try to install that profec. and my intercooler. wish me luck.

thanks

well...my friends and i installed the DP and he revs it pretty nice, but i thought it wasnt such a good idea because of the insane boost it could go up to.

just wondering on the next mod list i told him about, let me know what you guys think....but the boost gauges and stuff will come first though
- possible rebuilt or Efini JDM twin turbos from the stock ones
- twin intakes
- FULL exhuaust system
- boost controller
- boost gauge
- fuel pump (walbro 255?)
- Power FC
- fuel

looks like a good list. From reading and experience an ecu upgrade is always the best I learned that the hard way. I blew my engine not even a month after taking out my damn cat back.

I lost my engine with just a DP and intake. I noticed the boost spiked to like 14psi. My stock fuel system couldn't take it and my engine popped.

Wow I was lucky then, cause I never had a problem With DP and CT.

Did you get it back on the road?
