Anyone have a pilot bearing puller?

I'm working on restoring a 79 SA, and am having the hardest time getting the pilot bearing out. I rented a slide hammer, but all the attatchments are too big and deflect.

I saw the tool on mazdatrix, but if anyone has one that would let me use it for 15 minutes, I'll compensate you what I can! I'm in Elk River MN. PM me if you could help get his SA back on the road!

Autozone in my hometown St. Louis rents them out. Maybe you have a similar parts store in your area. I have read you may have to file the puller down a bit.

They're about $100.00 thru Ray and worth every penny. I've used mine more times than I care to count and initially thought it was an unnessary expense. Of course I have 2 3rd gens.
