I went to the pm session in CA and it was from 7:15pm - 12:15am. I liked the pm session since pretty much everyone worked full time and was the older group for the most part.

I just graduated this Friday woohoo! 6 SOC's, 7 DH's, Excellent attendance, ABK nominee, MB Elite, I blew that award list up! haha

mazdaenthused: You have no idea how badly I want to take the 7, but it's just not practical. No AC (I hear the summers are blazing), no garage at my apt., I won't be able to afford Insurance and gas while I'm there, not to mention the car payment, maintenance, repairs, and I have a failing coolant seal, so I don't even think it would make the trip out there. I drive a civic 6 days out of 7, and I couldn't imagine DD'ing the FD.

Did any of you guys go through the school for assisted housing? I got my apt. already and I have 3 roommates.

Smart on not bringing the 7 lol. Im at $150+/week just in gas, and have to fix the thing in the parking lot once a week. Today I came out after school to no clutch pedal and almost no brake pedal.. Coincidence that both hydraulics decided to be dumb. Oh and yes no AC blows down here.. But i'm used to having no roof with no AC so I may be alittle biased.

What apartments are you going to be at?

Not exactly sure where the apartments are, but my friend stayed in their housing and said it's about a 10 minute walk to class.

I'm not sure if it's the same with FC's, but FD's use the same reservoir for the clutch and brake fluid.

Nope FCs are seperate, im used to the clutch reservoir going empty once a week (need to get off my lazy *** and replace my slave), but apparently the brake reservoir got jelous and wanted to do the same...

Man, I feel sorry for FD owners out there. It's going to be a whole lot different than LA lol.

Oh yeah, and btw charlies7, I'm not sure if I told you, but I got the ignition coil relocation all worked out. It didn't look like it was going to fit, but with everything out of the way, it was a tight squeeze and everything went in fine. It took me a few times to get the order of the coils right so that the wires would clear, but all in all, it went smooth. Fitment was excellent too.

Uhhh....I do have a duct O_o

It's the stock one with the holes blocked off. There's no sense in getting a new duct at this point since my next project is a V mount.

^^Haha it's cool man.

Naw charlies7, the 7 is staying in LA. I am going to have a friend drive it up and down the street every other week so it doesn't sit and rot away.

Some of the guys who posted in this thread said they wouldn't mind picking me up for a meet. So hopefully I'll get to go to some and meet the Mid-west 7 crew.

Just got here in Glendale the other day. It's only been like 48 hours since I've seen my 7 and I already miss it like crazy. I'm actually considering shipping it over here. I'll have to look into shipping quotes, and see how much car insurance would cost. But with no AC, and no garage space it might be a beetch. Hopefully if I do bring it though, I can hit up some track events out here.

No AC is not much a problem around here. I haven't had it in my car since 1996. the cabin is a bit noisy with the windows down but it circulates the air pretty fast once your moving.

You should attend the Meet we are having on the 07/07/07.

Really? I haven't seen any rex's in Stonegate. ^Are you planning on going to the meet on 777? If so, I'll be needing a ride if you have the room. My apartment is way in the back. I guess there's no exhaust laws here (?) because I hear some crazy loud exhausts pass by all the time.

I start my first day of Elite class tomorrow.

There are just so many modded cars down there (good majority attending uti), that you would think there were no laws.. But Glendale Heights finest really do watch for that red badge in your windshield.
