Hello i just moved into bardstown kentucky which is right next to louisville and was wondering how many 7s are around here. If there are any around do you guys meet up at any point?

 

I'm a good distance away from there. But I have a few friends from bardstown

 

Do they have Rx-7s? I have not seen a single Rx-7 sence i moved up here over a month ago. Not in bardstown or louisville. It is starting to scare me i have never been in an area for loger then a month and not seen at least one.

 

As far as I know I have the only running and driving RX7 in my city. There used to be a few more but have all since disappeared

 

This sucks alot. so there are no 7s in the louisville area at least that we know of?

 

There are quite a few 7's and 8's in the area. Alot of them aren't real active. There are a few other forums where some post along with non-rotary Mazda owners. I'm in Richmond and there are a few here, including an excellent rotary mechanic. Louisville does have it's share, along with Lexington.

 

Actually I'll be in Louisville tomorrow to look at an FC. Hopefully if everything goes according to plan, I'll snag it.

They need to get more active. we need to organize some meets. I am a rotary mechanic to certified by mazda actually. that was a waste of time. i like performance work alot more then stock rebuilds.

 

I'm in Afghanistan right now, but it looks like I'll be headed to Ft Knox with my unit when we return next summer, and my FD is up and running. I'm definitely looking forward to some deserted country roads in and around the area.

 

There are a lot of 7`s through all 3 generations, Keep looking, Are you saying your a mazda mechanic or what were you saying in the early post.
What is your job now, How did you come to move to Bardstown.

I live in Evansville...about 2 hours away but i frequent Louisville alot....check out http://www.502streetscene.net for w/e...but be warned there's alot of buttpluggers on there.
