Im still above ground so ok, went to the track with the 7 and did some third gear pulls. I dont have a cage yet coasted 11.3 at 101 mph down from 110 mph in the 1000 ft. Need to up the boost above 20 lbs but would like a proper tune, im getting 10.4 afr at 8000. Kan set me up rich. Imiss some of your comments. Hows the beanner mobile commin?

 

You trapped 110 in the 1/8th ? Damn Charlie ! The most I've ever trapped in the 1/8th was 109 and that was on the 10.00 pass standing on the brakes !

Beaner is coming along, Wasn't able to really start on it until a few months ago and I'm still not able to touch it but on the weekends. Too tired after work to mess with it. The work I've been doing to it has been very nasty nasty work. Someone decided to cover the entire trunk, undercarriage, engine bay with some $2 autozone rubber undercoating. So, I wanted to remove it all before we welded in the 4 link/Suspension. So, so far............. the entire trunk area and the undercarriage back half area was stripped to bare metal and hit with self etching primer.

I've probably got an easy 30 hours in grinding undercoating off. Should have hired a couple kids to do it.

I've got everything for the rearend/4 link/Suspension and all that......... the only thing I'm waiting on is the axles....... said they take 2-3 days to make so I should have them monday-tuesday. I ordered them on wednesday. Hope these axles are okay for the street !!!!!!!!!

This has turned into a more expensive project than originally planned...... So far, I have $3,000 just in the rearend........ and I still have to spend another $500 on rear brakes !

It's fun though..........

No 110 mph in the 1000. ft 1/8 mile is 660 ft. That would be a fun ride, it was a midnite drag so the launch pad was chewed up with street tires the best i did was 1.59 off from my 1.52. I might be making 480 hp at 20 lbs, i need about 25 / 28 lbs. And good brakes!!!!!! Good talking to you i might be there in sept.
