(also North IL members) meetup?
A few years back (maybe 3 or 4?) We had a meetup at Bong which I considered to be a success. We cooked out and took some cool pics of our cars in the scenery. Anyone interested in doing this again?
Would a different spot be better? How about a Sevens Take Over cruise where we take over a cruise-in like QS&L or Georgie's?
My car probably won't be out for another month (doing a bunch of work on it) but after that I'd like to cruise it like it's going out of style.

Well there's that Steve Kan tuning session in 2 weeks west of chicago. I'm opting out since i broke my hand and can't finish my project on time. Otherwise I'm game to do a meet up sometime.

7's Day Meeting

July 6, 2014
Location: Ned Brown Preserve
Higgins and Golf Road
Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
Meeting area: Grove 24 parking lot (near Busse Lake Boating Center)
Time: 12pm
As most of you know, every year the Japanese rotary enthusiasts gather on July 7th as a commemoration to the RX-7's or rotary in general. I started a meet last year and would like to continue this meet as a tradition every year.
July 7th will fall on a Monday, therefore, we will hold the meet on Sunday. We will meet at 12pm, socialize and take photos for an hour or two. Then head over to the Japanese market, Mitsuwa, to grab lunch. This will be a great opportunity to meet other rotary enthusiast from Wisconsin and Illinois.
If you're from WI and would like to drive down together, please let me know ahead of time. We can set a time and location to meet up.

I cringe at the fact that I won't have my car back together by that date. Hopefully I can come down and check out other people's RX is to see what I can look forward to, when I'm done in the next coming weeks. Cheerio! See ya chaps fantastic rides soon.

You are the first to mention this. I'm looking to hit the road by 9:30, no later then 10. I will confirm with other local members if they're in, to determine a time and location to depart.
