Since I moved to Indy I dont post much on louisille streets anymore..although Im debating about getting some indy folks together for the Toys for tots run. We're doing the club discount/parking area thing for the Revolution this year...seems to me there really is no official Kentucky/Lousiville club. If you guys do have one, please have the president send me a note so that I can forward the club discount details to him/her. If you dont have a club..you can join in with the indy folks..just let me know either way.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I have wanted to go to the Revolution the last couple of years, but something always happened and the distance. Now that I'm this close, I will do my best to be there.

I'm glad you mentioned that because I had forgot to post it over here. That is now corrected. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthread.php?t=370494

I know you guys were gonna try to come down last year, but the weather really didn't cooperate. I hope all of you Indy guys can make it down this year. I *may* even be driving my 7 by then. Only time can tell.

We had a formal club some time back. President's name was Terry and I think he posted on here as Smoke IIRC, but he has dropped off of the face of the earth. Went by the name of KentuckianaRX-7 Club. There is still a webpage floating around out there somewhere. Send me the info on the club rate. I can probably turn up enough 7's to put it together on this end. I just hope it doesn't rain.

This we are taking big steps to have more fun even if it does rain. We are putting up large tents to keep folks outa the rain (or sun) , we are opening a second autocross track, we will be having a movie tent with race footage from last years rotary racers, we will be having vendors do more "hands on" seminars, and many other changes so folks can still do a lot of stuff if they dont want to race.

rotarys in kentucky

Well after reading 4 pages of posts I relize that there is still just few Rx-7s still out there motoring around. I`ve worked on rotarys since 1984 more than most anyone else in kentucky and have seen the demize of rotarys people f--kem up by installing V8`s into them. but every person can do as they want we are in america. (I just hate that type of stuff) I really do LOVE ROTARYS very much! Ive worked on a lot from louisville before the guys ever where thought of that think they can now (thats a little sracazzem! from folks like rick razor to brad ricairt who trusted me to modify his brand new 95 P.E.P he bought with 12,000 miles on it brought to me and spent 4000.00 dollars on it to make sure it did have all those little things done for relibilty and suspension mods for solo 2 I`ve bought and owned personally 23 rx-7s raced all but5 of them i know how they workv very well Have been building my own engines since 95, the customers are endless I still have customers who no longer own 7`s but still bring there cars to me for all types of work because they trust who I am and know I do not f--kem. There just isn`t enough web space for me to keep going on. If you want relialbe work from just basic to very wild port engine jobs I promise you I can Please you.at a resonable price. hey justin gastrich call me sometime. I know you still read this stuff I do miss you abilities. States for which I have customers are the bluegrass state and WV. Oh. Michigan,tn,ny,fl. any futher questions call at 859-623-3454 or at 859-200-4524.ask forLouis

I am still here, have my 94 Touring, I bought it new, 43k on the speedo, about 3k on the Big Lou mild streetport 3MM engine. I also have an 88 NA that I, (actually Big lou) made into a track car, took it Putnam Park for its first outing in early OCT, ran great all day, no problems, and no off tracks! Have a winter project, maybe a 2nd gen turbo track car, NA car just not fast enough for me after taking my 3rd get to several track events for the past few years.
