3mm Ported Motor and Accessories (blown?)

Hello gents!

I put this up in the for sale section, got a few people interested but they all fell through. I was hoping maybe someone local might be interested. If I cannot sell this as a core, I will be parting it out in the future, so if you need some parts down the road, keep in touch with me =D

P.S shoutouts to Victor, Christian , ming and Tom. Haven't seen you gents in forever and thought you might see this :P

p.s.s Mods please don't move this to the For sale section as i'm trying to guage if theres any direct local interest. Thanks!

Hello all,

I'm putting up this motor as I originally bought it as a backup, but no longer have a use for it. I purchased it from a close friend, and know exactly what its been through and who's touched it.

The motor itself is as follows.

Started as a Remanufactured motor from Mazda. Afterwords Gotham Racing tore it down and rebuilt it with the following parts:

-3mm MAZDA apex seals, visibly all 100% condition, and all the included parts required for 3mm seals ( side corner etc) (350$)

-Gotham Racing Stage 3 Streetport Description from their site: Stage 3: Race Street Port, with a slight decrease in low rpm power and driveability but with an increase in airflow and horsepower (800$ including milling etc)

-New rotor housings (750$)

-Block off plates and coolant hose routing is set up for a Single turbo. All gaskets and seals were replaced.

-S/S Oil metering pump lines (99.99)

The motor has perfect compression on the rear rotor, however, the front rotor fails to get any compression on any of the faces, but, the Apex seals visibly are in perfect condition when checked through the exhaust port. Original owner was driving and suddenly the car started operating on one rotor. Following that, the car then sat for a few months. It's possible that the seals are stuck as there is a decent amount of carbon builtup in the front rotor, but condition is unknown aside from visible check. The motor was tuned by Gotham racing very conservatively so it is unlikely that the front rotor is actually damaged. Motor has been stored with oil and ATF inside the engine, and is spun frequently to ensure lubrication. Also any ports/holes in the engine have been covered at all times minus these pictures to ensure nothing gets inside the motor.

The motor also comes with other aftermarket parts including,

-Gotham Racing polyurethane motor mounts (299.99)

-BRAND NEW Oil metering pump with less then 3k miles on it

-Remanufactured Alternator

-New water pump and gaskets.

-Gotham Racing oil pan gasket (159.00 at time of purchase)

-New wiring harness for the connections attatched to the motor.

-Greddy pulley kit

At the moment thats all I can think of, I'll have a copy of the receipt and a photo of it available tomorrow to add anything I missed.

Now of course, Pictures.

REALLY bad picture of what the apex seals look like, working on getting a better one.(sorry my camera sucks)

At this point, i'm really torn on what to ask price wise for the motor. The only thing I'm sure of is buyer pays shipping if they arent withing 2-3 hours of Chicago. I am willing to drive the motor and meet half way with a buyer, or have it picked up.

Anyway, I'd like any serious inquiries to either send me a PM or email at Sevenex@Gmail.com I have a copy of the receipt available on request, but do not want to post it up here for privacy sake.

Thank you!

Edit: Engine does not come with A/C compressor or Powersteering pump, however I have both available for free to the buyer. I also have a lot of Stock twins vaccuum line parts( Pressure/vacuume tank etc) So If any of that is needed same deal.
