Alright guys, he'll be here next weekend. Hope you guys have your vehicles sorted out (Not directed at Busted7
).
If anyone needs to get ahold of me, my cell # 618-567-9641
Also, it would be a wise idea to bring some lawn chairs to sit in. I'm not sure how many chairs are available at the shop. Also, feel free to bring drinks and food.
I'll have a bottle of Silver Dragon attached to my hip.

Tuning starts at 8AM on Saturday and Sunday. I suggest you get there early just in case your spot comes quicker than you think. We can't let the dyno sit unused while waiting for cars to get there.

Eric
Seeing that I'm 9th on the list what time do you think Sunday will be my turn?
Heared alot about Steve Kan, what's his average time he spends on a FD typical of my type of FD?
I will have an O2 wide band and PC for my PowerFC in the FD ready to go.

Just so everyone knows, the order in which you're list is the order you will get tuned. We're planning on 4 a day but make sure you're there early just in case a spot opens. We can't let the dyno sit unused.
We'll have plenty of drinks and a few jugs to keep you occupied. The Penthouse Club is in the same building as well.

Thanks in advance to everyone coming out this weekend!
Please read this entire post if you are coming - I want everyone to be aware of how this will work!
First a clarification - we will not unfortunately be able to have a second mechanic on staff this weekend, but we will have plenty of help to make sure things go smoothly. We will also provide coffee and donuts each morning. We have a water cooler, soda machine and restroom facilities available in the shop. There is a convenience store 2 minutes away for other needs. The shop is heated, but we will have to move a lot of air to eliminate fumes so it may be chilly, dress accordingly.
A couple of rules for everyone:
Everyone is welcome, but for everyone's safety, we will have a new policy that only Steve K, the car owner, and myself will be allowed alongside or behind the car while the dyno is operating.
Due to the possibility of rain/mud no cars may be driven into the shop except those being tuned. Outside parking is secure, and cars that are being tuned may be left in the shop overnight if needed.
Procedures for those who are tuning:
Billing is $85 an hour and starts from the time we start hooking up the car until the time it is back on four wheels. I will deduct a ten minute grace period from each session to offset hook up and teardown. Billed time includes time spent fixing or modifying the car on the dyno. If serious problems arise and you want to pull the car off and stop the clock, this is no problem, but we will immediately move to the next person in line and bring you back into rotation when you are ready to resume tuning. Payment by cash or check is preferred, credit cards may be used through PayPal only. As always my staff and I will work very hard to get you the best value for your dyno money.
If you are not scheduled to tune, but would like to do baseline pulls, you can do so on a "standby" basis. If we get time due to mechanical problems, lunch breaks, etc, we will squeeze you in first come/first serve. Price for baseline (3-4 pulls with no tuning) will be $60 for this weekend only (regular $75).
Anyone dynoing will be required to sign a liability waiver.
The shop will stay open until every car is tuned or Steve has to leave for the airport. If we get done at a reasonable hour the shop will stay open for beer drinking purposes as well. I will be there and ready to dyno at 8:00 each day, so please do the same.
Thanks again for your business, looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

One more VERY IMPORTANT thing!
Mapquest has the WRONG directions to our shop. Do not use Mapquest, Yahoo maps, etc to try to find us.
Take I70/I64/I55 to Route 3 south. This is first Illinois exit if headed east, last one if headed west.
You will go through one stop light and see a gas station on your right. Turn right in front of the gas station on "Yellow Brick Road".
You will see OZ nightclub on your left and Penthouse Club on your right. Head toward the Penthouse club.
Drive north along the east side of the warehouse building that Penthouse club is in until you get to Bay #4. That's the dyno facility. The rest of the shop is still in Bay #3, but we are slowly moving with all facilities to be housed in Bay 4 by December 1st.
Thanks again,
Steven

Steve, Steve and I will be at the shop at 8am. Steve's flight doesn't come in until 11:30 pm friday night so we'll have a late night. I'l have to toss a bucket of water on Kans head to wake him up.
Should be a good time.
Should be a good time.
I swapped Powermaxel and Manvero because Manvero needed more time.

Everyone needs to make a checklist before Steve Kan arrives. This is what he said in an earlier post.
"Here're some items to inspect/replace before the dyno. New plugs (less than 1k miiles), new fuel filter (less than 5k miles), inspect spark plug wires, oil change, full tank of whatever gas you normally run, inspect tires (no nails or anything that can fly out during the dyno), inspect coolant fluid (change if necessary), clean air filter, put all the mods in that you plan to run before coming to the dyno (I don't think there'll be enough time to install them on the same day)."
If you want to be added to the list, please let me know asap.

Alright guys, We need some people to show up today. It looks like two people have backed out for todays tuning and want to go tommorow.
Who can come today instead of tommorow? Please show up.
