Official Motel for MRR
Here's the lodging info. It will be on the MRR Website too..
The newly remodeled Starlite Motel (under new ownership) offers the
atmosphere and convenience we want.
They have 17 rooms and we have put ALL on hold for Fri and Sat night.
$65.99 for single
$69.99 for two/room
each additional person $10 for a max of $79.99. In other words, if you have
four or five to a room, the extra people are free!
There are 17 rooms: 9 have a bed that sleeps two. Five have sofa sleeper in
them for a third person and one has a double sofa sleeper (total of four
people). One room has a king size bed
8 rooms sleep four (two beds) and also two have rollaways so can sleep 5.
Rooms are small, but have refrig, coffeemaker, and micro and cable TV.
There is a playground area in the front which will also have BBQ grills this
summer and picnic tables
RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE BY JUNE 20TH under the MRR name: 920-898-4265.

New Holstein, WI 53061
Rooms would all be held for late arrival if reservation is made with credit
card. No getting rooms sold from underneath us.
There are a number of restaurants in the area. For Fri nite there is a good
pizza place (Village Inn Pizza) just north of the motel in town that is
supposed to be excellent. For breakfast, just south (walking distance) is a
family joint that serves breakfast. I think it is the South Town Restaurant.
Looks nice from outside.
From the motel it is a very scenic 9.4 mile drive to RA. Fun drive. 145mph
drive.....
This seems ideal as the prices are moderate, we get the whole place, it's
convenient and it's like having your own private party.

Lodging Update!!

I wanted to post a reminder to anyone considering staying at the Starlite Motel for MRR this August 19-21. As of today, they have 10 rooms remaining, 7 are reserved. On June 20th they will release the rooms to anyone. If you have not made your reservations, contact them before June 20th to get the "MRR" rate of $66 or $70 a night. Don't be left out, without a place to stay. Local lodging is limited, and does book up for ALMS weekend.
Also, please take a moment to send in that registration if you haven't already, it's very helpful to the sponsorship and the overall event planning.
