Microtech wiring up LT8-s... need help!

fuggin hell, i go out there this morning and now the ecu doesn't come on. i haven't touched it since it was working last night. wth! i guess i gotta check the forkin harness yet again. i just don't get it, my connections are solid and strong. all grounds and power check out. it all has continuity. battery on the charger now has over 14 volts.
green light came on last night. i closed it up and left it alone. go out this morning, turn key to on position.. nothing.

wow so today proved to be good i did find the short. had some buddies come over and just stopped focusing so damn hard. looked at the harness a little differently and noticed where a wire had been grounding out on the leading coil... DOH!!!!!! fixed that and sure enough... green light came right on WOOHOOOO! reinstalled my usb adaptor software and put it to COM1 and it linked up with the microtech first try!
only issue now is it's stuck in TEST MODE???? it's firing my injectors and sparking the coils and **** LOL! it won't stop ahahah.
how do i load the preset base map that comes in the ecu? i went thru all the memcals and it just stays in testmode. memcal one says "BLANK?" i've tweaked a few MT setups before and have never seen this. weird

lol yea it's locked in TEST MODE and it's very aggrivating hahahha. when i first linked up everything was at max ms in all fuel maps and it was in matrix mode? shouldn't have been. fuggin weird.

ok, got it out of test mode and built a base map. only issue now is my fuel pump is not coming on. ignition seems to be in order but no fuel. i'll be checking my connections yet again but is there anything else to look for? i used the bosch relay they represent in the schematics.

if you have a meter measure to make sure you have 12volts coming out of your relay
OR
bypass the relay and wire the 12volts with the fuse to the pump, and see if the pump comes on.
if it does then the relay is shot or your wiring. if the pump doesnt come on then its the pump.

well omfg... i found out i didn't re-ground the fuel pump. so... i grounded it, turned the key to the on position and now the ecu never comes on no green light. i checked the fuses and they're not blown. the ecu and fuel pump fuse are both good. fuuuuuuug!
this is why i like boosting thru carbs hahaha i hope i didn't **** the ecu up!

ok wow i guess i just needed to take a day off from it HAHA. i pulled harness and completely redid all power and grounds and didn't hook up the fuel pump tho. light came on. now i just gotta rewire the fuel pump i guess.
