wideband woes...

i did do a bit of earching on the AEM today, but didnt find anything i didnt know yet..
heres my problem.

i am using the AEM UEGO wideband. Awesome wideband IMO, but im having a bit of difficulty getting it connected to my mircotech. i have an LT8 (might be LT8X or something like that)

theres a way to switch the wideband OUTPUTS between the 0-5v, 1v-2v, and thene theres an Autotonic something output thats between 0-1V and the Nernst (non linear) output thats 0-1v.

now i know that since the LT8 only reads narrowband, my only options are the nernst (witch from my understanding is a "normal" narrowband) and the autotronic output, which i have no idea what it is.

i tried the nernst output with no success. it was the same for the autotronic. im beginning to believe theres something wrong with the 02 senser input, but i would liek to hope not.

has any1 else had this issue with theyre widebands? any tips? all my connections are good... i soldered the wires and wrapped them with elect. tape.

You can test the Mircotech's narrowband input easily by swapping on a narrowband sensor. Or if you don't want to run the car, connect up a narrowband sensor, power up the Microtech and then heat the sensor with a propane torch. It should read almost full lean.

why would you want to use the narrowband sensor anyway?
completely useless in my opinion.
send the microtech back to get it upgraded to wideband.

well i had a narrow band sensor connected beofre i installed the wideband, and that SEEMED to work, but now im not completely sure..
