Very odd RPM reference issue

Recently my microtech LT-10s started to go all buggy one day and the car started to idle very rough and also begun sputtering.
It is bassically a stock T2 RHD FC with only a cat delete.

When I start the car, the rpm reading on the dash is 9500! Using a tachometer, the cars shows to be trying to idle at 1200-1300.

I thought it might have been a CAS failure so I replaced the CAS but no change.
While plugged in to the ecu, I spun the CAS removed from the engine by hand and the rpm is fluctuating ALOT like spinning slowly it is reading 2000 rpm.

Is this an interference issue or just a failure in the ecu? I had it sent out to microtech before and they claimed it was ok and reset the map for me.

Have you checked screen 30 (or 31?) and confirmed that the ignition settings are correct?
