tunning issues please help

problem
When i open my throttle quickly and i hit 00"hg or even 05"hg my car leans all the way out even though on my load map i have greatly increased the ms my injectors are open.

mods
550cc prime 850cc second
bigger turbo
racing beat exhaust

Im wondering if my secondaries are kicking in at all. I can run my car in heigh rpm if i dont open my throttle to much.

would the throttle body mod with ported and polished tb cause diffucilties whit the maps.

Can my wide band read lean if way too much fuel is being dumped?

any ideas

Changed it and if it helped at all it was barely noticeable. i then changed it to Pump1amt to 40% and pump2 amount to 50% wide band still shows it lean completely out going into any boost at all.

I also have increased the MS open from 05" through 6psi by a considerable amount and still nothing.

A local performance shop told me that for a rotary with that size turbo, intercooler piping, intake, and exhaust 850cc secondaries may not be enough.

Every Rotary he has worked on he said had 1600cc secondaries and sometimes bigger primaries.

Does this sound correct should I upgrade my secondaries before I try to tune anymore?

No this is not your problem. injectors have nothign to do with it(unless they are wrecked).
have you checked to make sure that your tps is going from 00 to 01 as soon as you touch the throttle?

also your load map is very very strange
use ths one.

30" ~ 1.24
25" ~ 1.24
20" ~ 1.52
15" ~ 1.96
10" ~ 2.48
05" ~ 3.05
00" ~ 3.4

Can you do a datalog and show us the datalog. that may show us something were not currently seeing.

i have actually heard some bad stories about the venom injectors on this forum.
the bosch injectors are what they say they are. they are reliable.

does pump 2 represent sec injectors or just a different spray.

if pump 2 is sec inj then why would they have so many ways to turn them on and off

Rev stage on page 30 along with map stage turns on secondaries

and pump2 has things to turn them on and off.

everytime i hit 00"hg my car loses all fuel but that is also when it says pump 2

I have changed the settings of when pump 2 comes on and still lose all fuel when wot or 00"hg occurs

I have the same issue as you. Anytime I get above 00 Hg I lean out...
I have no idea what is wrong, we did the 0 cyl test run to see if the secondarys where firing, and they where. I tried everything in tuning to fix it, we tried every MS setting from 5-12 from 0 hg to 20 psi.. to see if we could get it to stop leaning out and nothing.. still leans out at around 2 pounds hard..

anyone can help me out?

720 primary 1000 secondarys
walbro 255 stock rails/lines
stock turbo 8 psi

have you checked to see if your fuel pressure holds when you load the engine up?
can you show me your current map? or at least your load05HG and LOAD 00HG and all your staging settings thank you.

check your vacuum hookup to the microtech and try a different place. i had a problem very similar to this and changing my vacuum pickup fixed it.

That would do it.. I run an inline guage..

Some can sit on your fuel pressure reg (If aftermarket) like this

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FUEL-PRESSURE...ayphotohosting

I just run one inline it screws into a fitting to suit.

Ya, I have stock fuel system beside a walbro, and injectors..

We took some push lock lines with a gauge adapter and slid normal EFI hose on them, We actually use an air pressure gauge from an old compressor we had around first, just to check. It said 10 so we found a real fuel pressure gauge off another car, and 10 as well on it..

no hose clamps on the pump in the tank.....

instant easy tuning then..
pretty hard to tune with 10 psi of gas....
on fuel injection anyways...

my first microtech tuning attempt, I really thought I blew *** at tuning until I realized that I had no gas lol...
