Microtech Tach right, microtech wrong?

Tach right, microtech wrong?

The tach reads 1000-900 ish rpm but the micro tech lt8 reads 3500 rpm,
the car runs good at idle, butterfly are closed sounds good, doesnt have the loudness of 3500rpm since i have a semi loud exhaust. Im not sure what else information will be use full!

87 fc3s 6port block, hybrid s5 turbo ,550-1000cc inj , stock ing atm till i get hks twin power, godspeed rad, FMIC,

Have you changed the tach wiring at all? As in, it still connects to the trailing?

Oh, wait...which RPM reading is incorrect, the Microtech or the tach?

Have you changed the tach wiring at all? As in, it still connects to the trailing?

the setting for cyl was at 2, so after changing it to 4 it read correctly, now we cant get the car to cold start at all.. tried everything
