Ok.
You need to upgrade your alternator. put a cosmo or FD one.

i have it wired to a relay with new wiring 14 or 12 gauge wire. new terminals and everything. im sure the wiring is ok. im leaning towards the alternator not being able to handle the load.

hey rx72c welcome back. i do have a few more questions. yesterday i pulled the filter behind the walbro out and ran it with one filter in front to see what happends and the car was running rich so i started tuning evertyhing out and noticed that my idle was steady at 850 with an aft of 13.0 to 13.5 and the car was running pretty good. the fuel pressure was at steady 44 psi. now today i did some suspension work in the back of car so i had to lift it up. i dropped it back down after i was done, started her up and now its stalling again. i did notice that the fuel pressure was a little lower at like 42 and now i can hear the pump whining really loud. it wasnt whining like that yesterday. i know i ordered the pump and tank but just wanted to see if the pump could perform good then bad?

Yes it can.
I just remembered. You need pics of the surgetank fitted to a car. i will do that today.

Wait till you get the new pump. You will love it.

The only other thing that could be causing your inconsistency is a faulty fuel pressure regulator.

Its hard to say.
The fuel pump will whine when its being restricted or being run at pressures its not happy to work at.
