Microtech question about microtech
question about microtech
so i dont know much about microtechs first and foremost. so here is my sererio. I am restoring a 72 mazda 808 coupe and putting in a rotary motor a 13b efi from a 88 gtu. and my car being a 72 i dont want to keep the stock wiring in the car. So with a microtech will that basically reaplace all the engine wires and do everything the engine will need.
Will i still need to and other drive train component?
Thanks matt22

here's a question to add...
lt12 vs ltx12
coilpacks needed on the "x" but why would one not want to uses the stock ones? and who has info on the lt12s? anyone on here get it in their car?
sorry to hop on your post but it should help both of us.

The Bosch coils would be needed in high HP applications. It's probably a debatable topic, but I think most people say beyond the 500hp is where you'll want different coils.
Stock coils are surprisingly capable -- I doubt most people would notice a difference in the sub 400hp area.
