The ECU you need is the LT8.It's designed to work with your factory coils & all factory sensors including the TPS.You can use all the factory plugs also which makes installation much cheaper & easier.
It comes from the factory with a base map to suit your engine so once you have the vehicle wired it will start & run well enough to drive so you can either take it to a dyno shop or tune it yourself.
The unit has an inbuilt map sensor also.
The LT8 is $1095 Aus for the computer & loom.
The handset is $165 Aus & the laptop adaptor & software are $150.
Shipping to the USA on Air freight usually runs out to around the $65 Aus mark.

You dont have to use the stock TPS as long as it is a 5v sensor you can use it,
you also dont have to use the stock sensors but the ecu has to be ordered from microtech with the other sensors as the resistance is different between the stock mazda sensors and other sensors,
connectors are avaliable from microtech for water temp, air temp and series 4 type injectors,
the inbuilt map sensor is a 2 Bar unit, good for 25psi, a 3 bar is avaliable and is a extra $200odd US $$,

So what sensors do I NEED or SHOULD buy?? What stock sensors will work, and what wont work??
Also I was told by the distributer that my stock TPS is fine for this system. THe microtech only needs tps at idle, and works off map for fuel curves thereafter.

I also got a quote from RX Engineering and wanted to ask some of these same questions. Normally a 2BAR MAP sensor is only good for 14.7psi as it is 1bar vacuum and 1bar boost. It sounds as if the map sensor is then built into the ECU itself? Do you have to run a line to the computer?
I would also not want to cutup my stock harness to install the microtech, so I would see if I could source the TPS and airtemp connectors elsewhere. The watertemp, BAC, and injectors can be gotten from Summit, a pack of 8 MSD connectors is like $14.
Also is there anyway someone could get me a picture of the Microtech wiring harness? Mabey some screenshots from the software?

Can the Microtech adjust for accessories such as brake booster, power steering, and AC? Will it kick up the idle.

ALL the STOCK sensors work!
the map sensor is built into the ECU, i have run 22psi with no problems, the map sensor reads all these fine,
here are some screen dumps i have, i dont have any pics of the loom at the moment, i will have on my pc at home i think.

Yea doesit the stock ECU work fine with the stock TPS and sensors?
Microtech is designed to perfectly use the stock sensors
My friedn has a LT installed on his TII

If I didnt already bought a haltech (which is giving head aches)I would of bought a LT due to it ease of use and WINDOWS based software
