PLS HELP! O2 sensor? no boost??

Well I had an s5 turbo before with my microtech and got 8lbs no problem, now I put my 60 trim t04e in, try her out, only 1psi, WTF?? I thought my wastegate was fucked, so I took out the spring, and moved the piston inside around, same results, WTF?? I get about 2psi (if im lucky) at around 8500-9000 rpm. Now i just thought of something, does my o2 sensor have something to do with this? does the microtech get some kind of injector signal from the 02 sensor. Someone told me it is just used for cruising, but I would like to ask you guys

87 tii, Microtech LT8, 60trim t04e w/ .96 hotside, front mount starion IC, intake, 3" pipe to stock catback, new plugs/wires, no AC, no PS, no emissions.

LMK thx!

02 sensor should not affect anything. I'm not even running one! Did you do the usual checks for boost leaks? Make sure your bov is closed all the way?

yea i sprayed carb cleaner all over the places i suspect there would be leaks, and nothing. the 1st time i ran my car with this turbo, i didnt even have a bov, now with my blitz bov i get a nice whoosh sound at 6k, but i dont get it, if i have 0 boost, why do i get bov sound?

Are you sure you have no boost? Tried a different nipple? Separate boost guage? Maybe your hose is kinked or something?

well my car is slow, it was faster with my s5 turbo, Im pretty sure its not kinked i get good vacuum: 17hg and with the blip of the throttle it goes back to 0 in less than a second, i guess no one knows? Im putting in a new wastegate, maybe there still is something wrong with mine, even tho the diaphram isnt exploded, the spring is out, and I can move the piston around?

This may sound dumb, but it's happened to me before (I guess I'm dumb).... but check over your intercooler hoses and blow off valve, and make sure no hoses have popped off or the bov is not stuck open.

Yeah, if you really are getting BOV noise, that makes me think there is something else wrong 'downstream' as Infini suggested. Make sure the noise you're hearing really is your BOV and not just a major boost leak somewhere.

I would think that if it is your wastegate stuck open that you probably wouldn't hear any BOV action (or at least very little).

well I know for a fact my BOV is not stuck open, because it came to me stuck CLOSED. (so stop asking! : ) A little wd 40 cured that tho. neways, I ran the car under 4k for the 3 weeks I was driving w/o bov (except for once when I wanted to test her) and when I put the bov on I checked everywhere for **** that seems not right. also, you are correct Trav, I do get little whoosh sound, only at 6k or above, sometimes it gets kinda loud at 8 or 9k. Could fucked up Microtech settings be the culprit? I havnt had a chance to tune, because the little adapter is on order everywhere?

Honestly, it would have to either be a boost leak or your wastegate stuck wide open (or your turbine wheel is half gone.. doubt it). A T04E with a .96 housing A/R should not get positive manifold pressure much later than 3000rpm on a 13bt. If you have revved up to near redline and just barely getting 1psi boost, then you most definitely either have a boost leak or a fucked up wastegate. No bad settings on your microtech could produce something as mechanical as this, and still allow your car to rev past whatever point your turbo is supposed to have boost by.
