Need help: Serious 3500ish rpm hesitation

I took my car in for tuning at Rx7store for tuning today, but kept hitting a wall around 3500 rpm. I noticed it during the breakin period, but figured it was in the tuning, so I didnt worry about it. When I get into the 3-3500 rpm range in anything over 1/8 throttle, it hesitates very badly, and will not rev any higher. Its very violent, sounds kind of like a 2-step. It doesnt seem to be boost related, as I can feel it around 65 mph in 5th gear. If I give it very gradual throttle, it will go past 3500 in the lower gears with little load.

Im running a 3rd gen UIM and TB, and the TPS is on backward, but it seems to be working fine. 0%-99% reading on the LT-8s with no flat spots or other problems. Jason said timing and AFRs seem to be okay around the 3500 range.

Anyone had this problem before or have any idea what it could be?

700/1600?

I'd check your secondary staging. What are your staging numbers?

I have no idea, Jason was doing the tuning. Would that make enough difference to prevent me from revving any higher?

go to where it says revopt it defaults at 3500 IIRC. You have to move it till its higher than wat you can rev.

I cant find the revopt, what screen is it on? I cant find it in the index either. I tried turning the staging % up to 80, but it didnt seem to change anything at all, but I also didnt take fuel out to compensate for it.

This really sucks
