im doing a 87 gxl to 88 t2 swap. the t2 has an lt8s wired into it and i want to know that if i unplug it front he harness to remove the motor (dropping motor in with harness) will it reset itself? there are two wires that run to the fuel pump and to a selonoid and also spliced into "door lock mechanism on frame" put in by previous owner. do i need that door lock on back left quarter panel. or do i just run a wire to the fuel pump. this thing is a little confusing, just want to make sure where everything goes. thanks
