PA Microtech no cranking signal car was running fine and it died and wont start.Help!

Last week of my way 2 work my car backfire like never before and it died on me.I got out of the car and my exhaust was smoking really black thick smoke and it lasted like for 30 seconds.I tried 2 start her up and she did with a weird miss but driveable. For the next 3 miles the car did die on me 3 more times and i decided 2 pull over and called a flatbed, got her home and and before i park her il tried one more time and she started right up no misses!Today i took her for a ride around the block and it ran fine got home parked did a oil change and went 2 try 2 start her again and it wont start at all.........what the f?I did check for power 2 the coils and is good, got no spark at all at the wires, when i crank i get no tach signal at ,did a datalog and it shows no spark if im not mistaken,i did put the unit in test mode and my tach goes up 2 680rpms after that i did try 2 start her up again and the tach did showed cranking rpms but no start!i did the same thing again test mode then put it back 2 normal and try 2 start it and i had cranking rpms but no go,this time also got a rpm error code so WHAT IS GOING ON?is my microtech dead?

check the CAS wire connector that plugs into the ECU, they are known to get loose over time.

Hope this helps,

Andre

First thing you need to check is do you get a flashing orange light on the microtech when cranking
