NY Microtech for my car? Yes? No? Help plz..

Hi I am looking for some help. I am going to be as specific as possible. I am posting in here because I am not 100% sure if I should go with a stand alone ecu for my car.

I will tell all you Fuel Management gods and gurus my set up and please tell me the safest thing to do and if a microtech would be good for my car and set up as well as future plans.

I Just recently bought my 1990 gtu. Keep in mind now that I flew into NC to buy this car. I was told it was a t2 engine with na drive train. I thought no biggie I can use the na drive train for now... When I can afford it then go t2 drive train.

Well I get the car home. It has a nasty echaust leak. I got a headache from driving it back. Took me 9 hours. I take it to PA to KDR. I see Dave. I almost died when I found out it was not a t2 engine.

Here is the current set up on the car. This is the way I bought it.

-6port s5 engine(unknown internals but engine was open already!) <-KDR verified it
-s5 t2 front cap
-s5 turbo w/exhaust manifold
-unknown LIM(Just ordered 6port turbo LIM Jap2la today)
-s5 na harness
-red round top injectors???
-n370 ecu
-n370 afm
-n370 pressure sensor
-all emissions removed and blocked off
-s5 na tranny/drive train
-unknown FMIC
-RB FCD<-- bad for car tricks ecu not enough gas at high boost!<- my opinion
-TurboXs bov
-TurboXs boost Controller
-Apexi S-AFC II **NOT INSTALLED!!!
-2.5 down pipe
-str8 pipe to small silencer
-Apexi n1 cat back

I have owned three other second gen rx7 t2's. I bought this car due to several things. The body is very clean and str8, no rust anywhere on the car or under carriage!! 1990 gtu rare, no power windows, and it has a lot of after market parts. Some I didn't even mention & a few of them are very rare!

I also bought this car thinking t2 engine! I will restore it and put money in it little by little. I have a 95 grand marquis in great condition I can drive my marquis and little by little work on this car and drive it as a sunday car.

Well my luck gets worse. I lose my job. Now I am forced to sell one of my cars. Logically I know the more sensible thing to do is... Sell the RX7. It would break my heart to sell it. So I made up my mind. Keep the RX7. It will be my daily driver.

I am already scared of it due to its set up. Something I am new to.... Is this set up ok for daily driver! Will I blow up this engine!!!! Do I need to go stand alone? Which stand alone?? Microtech...

Oh yeah when I was driving the car back from NC. I started to push it just a little. I had to be careful. It has an exhaust leak and very badly slipping clutch. But it was driving great on the highway. I got off for gas. I wanted to see if she was responsive. I pushed her a little. I hit 3rd half throttle as I let off the gas to shift into 4th holy chit... BOOOOOM it sounded like a cannon! It actually happens in fourth too. It happened when I let off the gas. Is that detonation?

Since I got the car home it has been sitting in my drive way covered. It is in my avitar pic that is my car. I can not sell it. I bought it for a reason. If I sell it I will only buy another when my finances are str8 again. nly sucky thing about that... I won't be able to get a car with some of the things that make me love this car. That is why I will not sell it.

Now oh great fuel managment gods and guru's... What should I do to make this car reliable enough for a daily driver??? Do I need to go stand alone?? Can I just drive it as a DD like this?????

Oh yeah if I sell it.. I am going to lose about $1300.00 Ouch...

Anyone in NY that would be willing to help me with my car.. Please. I am willing to barter!!! I am money poor but I am domain rich... I am also a seo specialist and webdesigner and coder... I personally own over 50 domain names...

Its just excess fuel on back off.

I would get a microtech on your car purely goes i dont trust the standard ecu.

But its your call at the end of the day.
