microtech 550cc and 1600cc setup

i dont know what happened to my post but anyway here it is:
iam having a problem setting up my 1600 cc to run properly.
i have 550 on the primeries and trying to set up the 1600 . the staging is 3000rpm and 0" vacuum and every time they come on the engine feels it shuts down and it starts back firing through the exhaust
i tried the staging % at 75 , 85 , 95 and 99% and no difference at all.
keep in mind the engine runs excellent with 1000cc in the secondaries but i need the1600 cuz 1000cc are maxing out.
i thought maybe the 1600 are dumping too much gas so i went to the rpmwot map and tried taking off 10,20,30,35% at 3000 and 3500 rpm just to try and still the same , every time it gets to 3000 rpm when the sec. injectors kick in the engine does the same.
need help guys
thanks
sam

When you switched from 1000 to 1600, did you tune your fuel map again?

when i first changed over to big secondaries my car did the same thing. No matter what i tried nothing made a differnce. It turned out that i broke the connectors in the injector plug and had to buy new ones. Just a thought.

Set the staging to 99% (Please read the post I did which is a sticky at the top of the page on how staging works)
Set the Map stage to 4psi
Set the RPM stage to 3000

Don't try & tune the fuel out with the WOT maps.It won't work properly. You will need to go & do it from 4psi onwards in the load map.
When you have these injectors set up right you will see the fuel map curve upwards to around 6.00 M/S at 4psi & then drop down down to around 3.00 M/S at the 6Psi screen & then start to curve upwards again.
Try this & it will work

Think about it... you are putting injectors in that are nearly 2 times bigger than your original injectors. Even going from a 550/550 combo to 550/720 combo could bring a stumble, let alone going from 550/1000 to 550/1600 at the same staging point of 3000rpm.

Also, you may want to upgrade your primary injectors as well... A T72 flows a lot of air

Check the continuity on the wires of the secondary injectors. Make sure they are coming online. Do you hear a lean or rich pop?
The Microtech should do its job with the settings that rxeng recommended.
