LT8 vs MT8

i thinking of upgrading to LT8 what are the advantages or new sfuff on it

Load points every 500rpm compared to one load point then rpm points to correct, basically it has 16x the programing that your MT8 has,
You will notice a instant fuel consumption drop as well.

yeah thats what my friend said when he got his lt8 big drop in fuel consumption. can you explain the "one load point then rpm points to correct" in more detail i dont understand it fully

Ok,

on your MT8 you have a Load and idle maps, just the 2 of them, the idel controls everything when the throttle is closed and load when the throttle is open, then it uses rpm points to add or subtract fuel to the main load points.

the LTX has a loap point every 500rpm, so basically 18x the tuning

ahh i get it now it would run alot better then too. i think ill get my FMIC installed first then get it upgraded. i think you told me once before but i cant remember how much it was to upgrade it???

The upgrade is $200, you can send the ecu to me and i will drop it down there and return it to you when complete, there is about a week lead time on upgrades at the moment,
