LT8 No crank input signal
Car 1990 GXL Cosmo RE.
So I wired everything up as the diagram says, Solid grounds and good 12v power sources.
My problem is that the amber light on my Lt8 is not blinkng nor does it spark when i crank the motor. the hand controler reads 000 -rpm crank when trying to start the car.
All wires and connections are solid and have been check multiple times ands still nuthing. I did notice that on the CAS loom the ecu has 4 pin outs but the loom accepts only 3 Red, Green, Blue. The left over pin out has power. Why could this be?
Also last night i tapped the ECU lightly and cranked the motor and the light cam on when trying to start. Then it was off again.
I dont understand. Help is very very appreciated....

When you wired the CAS which side of the plug did you match the colours to.
Dont worry their is only 3 wires on the Microtech plug side.
On the end their is 4 wires, 2 of the wires join into each other. They are grounded by one wire through the computer, blue and yellow.
You must match the wires to the colour of the wires on the CAS.
Did you ground the shield on the CAS cable?
your not meant to.
