I just ordered a lt8. Will the vehicle run on the stock map installed in the unit?

I dont have access to a dyno locally so will programing/tuning be a nightmare?

note:I am very new to rotarys, this motor and lt8 will be going in a buggy with 3" exhaust and k&n aircleaner.

 

1. Yes, it should start and run with the stock maps. They are quite rich, so you'll need to pull out some fuel to get a decent idle.

2. If you have a wideband and can find a big hill without any traffic, you and a passenger could probably do an acceptable job at tuning. But there is no substitute for a dyno.
