I have an S4 gxl with a j-spec S5 motor including turbo and manifolds.I'll be finishing the swap tommorrow. The only real mods i have that actually effect power are the TB mod, Intake and very open exhaust.I removed all the emmissions and the rats nest as well. How well can i expect my car to run with the basemap? I have an lt-8. It will be tuned shortly but i'm curious to how it will run. Thanks.

 

well when i ordered my lt8 form br7 i told them that i had stock everything. by the time i gotr the lt8 i had changed my mind a littel and ended up going witha t04r and 1680 secondaries with 680 primaries. with just a littel bit of help over the phone/instant mesage i got it adjusted almost as good as the stock computer, \minus when the secondaries came on and other stuff.

but i have haerd other people say, who didnt change anything from the time they ordered to the install, that it ran better than stock.

 

Right down from the same FC, down to the same Engine ie. s4 NA > S5 TII Engine, we wired up the LT8 to a fresh rebuilt, streetported Engine and It ran fine.

When you ordered It, did you specify for the LT8 to have the values for the s5 TII Motor and mods? Or the s4 Engine?

 

In al honesty i dont know, i had my friend order it. I think he only told them it was a stock 13bt

 

well i had some issues when i first started the car up, like the tps only give a zero value for one of the two values no matter what i did, stalling out when stopping or coasting to a stop and poor drivability which could be my injectors since i was fouling plugs out constantly(has since been sent to rc engineering) other than that i gotta put the injectors back in and go from there.

 

I started up mine yesterday and drove it around a little today. It runs pretty damn good.
