I just picked up this lt8 and of course it came missing the ignition output harness. Does any one know where i can get the right connector, i think im just going to make one up. Microtech-efi wants 300 bux for a new harness which i think is outrageus for a 10 dollar piece of coax and a 50 cent connector. here is a pick of the ign. inpute that came with it. At one end there is a yellow, green, blue and red wire. then it appears at the other the yellow has been spliced into the blue one,is this the way its supposed to be? Also if someone could hook me up with which pin on the ecu 6 pin ign output socket goes to what wire on the coils, that would be ausome. theni can make up a little harness and keep close track of which wrong colored wire goes where. thanks.

i suppose you bought this "used"? why dont you tell the seller to cough up the harness?

 

I havent contacted him yet, he bought it from someone and never put it on his car, so i doubt he has the harness, i think im just going to buy one from 1sgen, he has them for 100 to my door. i can deal with that. Are there many differences between the harnes wire colors for ltx8 and lt8?

mine came like that from austrailia so I don't think anything is missing. I have a lt10s and looked up the diagram for a lt8 to figure it out and the missing connector is a ground so its spliced into the blue which is also a ground. Another thing that was weird btw is that the two pink wires are actually spliced midway thru and there is only one ign + 12v pink wirfe at the ecu plug
