FD Microtech install

I've tried searching for this but it seems many experiences are with the FC and not FD, so I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I'm wiring up the Microtech and the instructions are pretty straight forward, however, what I'm wondering is if there is any part of the stock harness I need to reinstall to insure that all my gauges and other aux. features continue to work. I plan on splicing the connectors directly to the new Microtech harness but are there any other wires/connectors from the original harness that somehow need to be hooked up?

Hey,
If you have a question or two, call Tim at Microtech in Australia or PM 10secrx7.
I spoke with Tim and he is very helpful and friendly. He didn't mind the ton of questions I had. 10secrx7 is as well but it was easier to just all ask questions over the phone than PM him every once in awhile.
