Engine not responding to adjustments of Idle map

When I make changes to the Idle map, while the car is idling, nothing happens. I have to make changes to the load map to affect the idle. Is this correct? I have calibrated my TPS.

Make SURE that the TPS calibration screen is showing the astrisk. That indicates that the Microtech knows it's at zero.

How much have you been changing the settings? 1 or 2 whole points will make a big difference on mine (if a certain range is 1.26 for example, making it 2.26 or 3.26 will do SOMETHING)

Also, are you adjusting the cell that the yellow arrow is pointing to?

you may have calibrated the tps, but that doesn't mean it returned to zero... just make sure it says 0% tps on your display

The tps was not calibrated correctly after all. I was changing the wrong value. Once I got this correct I could make changes to the idle. Thanks again for the help.

Another thing to always look for is the Asterisk on the handset when making an adjustment like this.
The Asterisk will appear when the screen you are in is the one the ECU is looking at.
This will tell you straight away if you are adjusting an active map or not
