Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the LT10s with factory coils for FC3S?

I was told by the guy that supplied the LT10s that it was for stock coils but I got a lt8 wiring diagram with it. Looking on MT's website makes me think that all lt10's need the x4 ignition amplifier, is this true? I tried to order the x4 and coils this morning but the dealer said that he orders lt10's for stock coils all the time and would assume that mine is for stock coils. Does any one have the proper diagram for this setup or can sketch the diagram for the stock coils?

Thanks

I used the LT8 diagram when wiring up my S4 13BT with S4 N/A coils and it worked perfectly. You don't have to have the x4 to use an LT10s and if yours isn't programmed for the x4 box, it would have to be reprogrammed to work with the x4.

Have you checked to see if your t2 coil is working? I have it wired according to the lt8 diagram and the car runs fine it just isn't firing on the t2 coil? I have checked all the factory components on the car and have checked that the output from the ecu is giving a signal and all seems to be working. If I remember correctly the trailing coils need a trigger signal for every trailing event on the pink wire and the white wire is the switching means for the igniter i.e. when 12v is supplied to the white wire the igniter switches to the t2 coil. This would mean that the pink wire would need a trigger event at roughly 15 and 195deg of every crank rotation but I am only seeing an event at 15deg??? I know that there is events happening on both trigger and switching channels but as far as I can tell there is no trigger event happening for the t2 coil, weather it is switching or not is another story.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

To be honest, I don't think I have specifically checked to see if the T2( Rear Trailing) Plug is firing. The car has run great from the day I first installed the Microtech and the plugs all seem to be burning about the same( from visual inspection). I will have to look around and see if I can come up with anything else on the coils. This is my first standalone and first rotary so I have a rather limited knowledge on the subject. Maybe "Aaron Cake" can help. Maybe you should PM him. Hope this post helped some. Hang in there.

When using a lt10s with factory coilpacks you will use the lt8 wiring diagram as for the ignition side of things they are the same.

I have done many of these and never had a problem. if your computer isnt firing the t2 than you computer settings are incorrect, or computer is faulty, or wiring is faulty.

lol, bad2ndgen I am pulling for you because I think we are both going to be running into the same problem as I've got an lt10's that came with the x4 box and I will be trying to run stock coils. Are the stock coils supposed to work with the x4 box?

you are better off not using the x4 box with the lt10s if you running stock coils.
