Where did you mount yours? It seems like right in front of the tach on the column mount. Just set the shift warning and go by the lighting. Anyone fab up something nice?

Well..I mounted it on top of the steering column. Just back far enough so the steering wheel wont rub when turning. It is slightly left of center as to not to hinder vision of the speedo. When looking @ the gauge cluster you can see the tach range between 2000 to 7000. Who cares anyway as now I go by the shift light when @ WOT. It does not obscure view of oil pressure and low coolant lights either. Although I am going to install an oil pressure unit to the dash unit anyway. The big differense is that I have an Efini(jap) steering wheel and there is a wider gap to view everything through the center. The oem is much more gaudy. I will post pics soon to let you see. Really good IMO. THe wire was just long enough to run it from the kick panel around and up under to the steering hiding everything but the connection itself. Again I will post pics to show everyone...
