Coils and fuel pump

OK, I have read about all I can read and still stand it. I am trying to figure out WHERE to get the switched power for the 3 coil wires. I don't know where to find them unless I put a battery in, turn on the ignition and then check with an OHM meter. Is that the only way? If someone could just tell me what wires and where to find them, it might be easier. Also I read on one of the threads that the trailing don't need to be spliced, is that true? Where do I want to hook my pink 12v ign wire to, I hooked it to my leading beige coil wire (but I see now that is wrong).

About the fuel pump. On the relay, there are TWO plug connectors for the 87 (power from battery), do I have to run two seperate wires from the battery and hook to both, do I splice the one I have and hook to both, or can I just hook it to one of the 87's?

For the switched 12V (key on) I used I want to say the tan wire by the trailing coil.

Fuel relay, are you saying that there are two labelled 87? On the diagram I see one wire (fused) from the battery. I do recall that there is nothing connected to the one in the center of the relay.
