I read the whole thing lol
let the ECU wars begin on the EVO's lol
like they did hear before..hehe
Anytime it gets into discussion of EMS's
it turns into a Windows vs Linux debate kinda thing.

Let's say I'm aware of the problems with the AEM unit and have based my opinions on what I've seen happenning at SFP with the units. With that I would have to say that AEM is trying to do something that no other manufacturer have done before by producing actual plug-n-play units for every make.
From what I've seen is that the product do have a lot of problems still needed to be solved. On the other hand the product also do have a lot of good things going for it that other ecu's don't.
The sad thing about the whole deal and the part I don't agree with AEM on is that the product is not 100% ready for public use and they should not be making claims which are not true. They are still doing R&D with certain units and have released the same products for public use. If one was to look at the picture being presented by AEM it would seem they are using their customers as guinea pigs.
It's the same old story with every new product out there. Never buy the first ones!
Let's hope AEM get their act together on time to save their repution in a market where there are already a lot of competiton and proven products that can get the job done.
