Changing map sensor connections

Recently my engine bay was completely redone and loads of stuff was moved around. One of the things I noticed was that the map sensor which was previously connected to the intake plenum and also connected to the blow off valves - was connected to the intake plenum and nothing else.

(I hope I got the terminology right, the intake plenum is the curvy thing that sits on top of the engine and has the intercooler piping going in it right?)

Anyway no other tuning was done to my LTX8 and now I've found that when the engine is running cool it stalls all the time when stopping the car. Could this be a cause?

Hmmm in addition, the RED led on the computer keeps flashing during idle, and stays constantly on while the throttle is on.

I just discovered this is some kind of fault diagnosis led.

You'll need to attach a laptop w/ adapter or a handcontroller or dash unit to the ECU to see what the error code is - it sounds like TPS calibration. Get back to me when you know for sure.

I was informed that the red light flashing is occuring because the car is stalling. I got it tuned, the idle is very rough when cold - but drive it a couple of hundred meters and it returns to normal. Doesn't stall first time I start it now though.

Sounds like your water temp or air temp map needs some adjusting. I had a similar problem when the morning temp was in the 10C range. My IAT said 5C and the car had a hard time idling on initial start-up...I added a bit of fuel in the air and water temp maps and it settled right down at 800 on cold start-up.
