CAS wiring help

ok so i have been searching this forum for the last 30 minutes and cannot find any hard evidence of this but i was just curious if anyone had a diagram of how to properly wire up the cas to the microtech lt8??? everyone says that you are not supposed to match up the colors of the microtech harness to the ones on the existing cas plug but they don't say how it should be wired PLEASE HELP!!!!

do people actually look at the wiring diagrams these days?
its all their.

im looking at the wires on the CAS it self.

So green on microtech goes to green on CAS.
red on microtech goes to red on CAS
yellow on microtech goes to white on CAS
blue on microtech goes to white/black on CAS

Tell us how you go.

Well, I just opened the back of my LT8S manual and looked at the wiring diagram. According to the manual, it's

Microtech CAS
-----------------------
Red Red
Green Green
White Yellow
White/Black Blue

These wires are on the CAS side of the plug if I remember correctly.

ok on the back of my microtech where the CAS wiring plugs in i have 3 wires. red, green, and a blue. according to the wiring digram red and green are inputs. now on my diagram it has no blue....does not tell me what it does. at my CAS connector i have a red, green, blue, and yellow. now i am assuming that blue would get 12V from the ECU to the CAS and yellow would be ground. well im not getting anything out of that blue wire. i back-probed the ecu and nothing at all. am i thinking about this all wrong or am i on the right track??

At the Microtech it's three wires. At the end of the harness it's 4.

The CAS requires no voltage to operate.

Are you following the wiring diagram in the manual?
