CAS and LT8

Hi guys, right still trying to get to the bottom of my Microtech LT8 issues.

Now i'm having a problem with the CAS. The issue is no amber light when cranking. Now i have power and great earths to the block.

CAS is wired correctly and there is continuity from end to end. The CAS is fine and with factory specs. When the car is in Config mode all coils and injectors fire and i have very good fuel pressure. Now with the ignition ON and CAS in hand and spun manually all injectors and coils fire & the amber light comes on and off. Put it back in the car and nothing. no amber light. I have now tried 3 CAS's on the car.

When you go into the error screens:
Water
AIR
HOM
REF

All read OK. Now i assume that HOM and REF are the CAS?? The funny thing is that id you completely disconnect the CAS the errors don't register on the LT8. They still read OK even when not connected at all... Surely thats not right?

Any ideas?????

Where is your LT8 pulling 12V and where is it grounded?

Where are you getting your IGN 12V signal?

all that is working Aaron, he said when he spins the CAS by hand with everything in "Go" mode, he gets spark and injection. I hate to ask, but is the CAS gear in the front stack properly?

Either that, or when the key is in "Crank", you aren't getting power to the LT8.

Edit: That's exactly what Aaron was asking. I'm an idiot.

Right one last question as i think this could be the only option left before i send this this off for a check up.

The 4 pin plug that has the CAS wires on it.

Power/Ground
Crank 2/ Crank 1

Laid out as above.

Now the Crank signals are obvious... The power on a Series 6 13b Not used on this plug according to the diagram. The ground off this plug goes to where. I have all the other brown grounds going to the block and the Thick black ground going to the - on the Battary. Ideas?

There is no power wire for the CAS. The stock plug has two wires for each VR sensor, a signal and a ground. The Microtech harness has two wires for each sensor at the plug end. But they tie they grounds together at the ECU.

Are you sure you are getting 12V when cranking?
