Car cranks, fuel pump works but car won't start
Well we got everything wired up, and i cant get the car started. At first we couldnt get the fuel pump to kick on, we fixed that. Now i cant get the car to catch while cranking. I dont even smell fuel. I dont see a broken fuse or anything. This is really pissing me off, i need to get this car started by tomarrow. Any thoughts? Im almost possitive the fuel injectors are wired up fine.
The other problem i am having is, i cant get the laptop connected to the ecu. It jsut says, "no connection to ecu"
PLEASE help
Adam

orange light does not flash when im cranking. The green light turns off when cranking though. What does this mean?
As far as the laptop goes, i bought a serial to USB converter from the store and am trying to connect that way?
Adam
I also checked to see if fuel injectors are wired correctly and they are. I checked and i do have power from the red wire too.

green light turning off is you have the pink wire hooked up to a source that turns off when cranking, try another ign source and that should fix your problems,
then if your not getting the orange light flashing when cranking your CAS or ign pickups are wired incorrectly, refer to the wiring manual
the usb converter must be set to com port 1 or 2 once you have this done you will be able to connect, the default is com 4, change this in device manager.

We got it done. Car started!!! It was the 12V ignition source we had it hooked up to. It didnt have power when car was cranking, just like you said.
Now i just have to hook up the fans and the tach.
Anybody know what wire on an autometer gauge is for tach input?
