Tried to get you a map today but for some reason I was only boosting to like 10psi by 5k and by that time I'm usually hitting full boost so naturally that's got my attention right now. Probably a boost leak somewhere (hope my crapy manifold isn't cracked yet, lol) Time to find an hks or greddy. I'll fix the leak and take it out for a cruise later on today hopefully.

Here is a short log for you. I couldn't see anything strange at 3500rpm/2psi but I'm a newb, what do I know

Is there a way to make the microtech take longer logs? It seems like it's only a few minutes and it stops logging. Also just to let you guys know, this log was from a short trip on the interstate from the on ramp to when I pulled in my shop.

Looks like a staging miss as thats were the secondary injectors are coming on. You can see at 3500 exactly is were secondaries are on.

Well we need to make sure it is staging.

So i need you to do another datalog with you just crusing up really slowly past 3500 and tell me if the miss is their.(keep vaccum under 4 inches, so between 4-20 inches of vaccum.

if it is then its not staging. If its not their. then well make some changes.

Ok here is a log from my zeitronix datalogger that shows my afr/boost/egts/rpm that may help you out also here is the microtech log that shows the 3.5k you needed in vacuum. Also here is the software to download to open up the log. http://www.zeitronix.com/images/ZDL_...ationFiles.zip

I know this is a major pain in the *** for you so I don't mind paying for this tuning help especially since you have to download and install software but man if we could get the tune straight it would be the ****!

edit: dangit, the zeitronix log is 73k too big to post on the forum. You wouldn't mind if I email it to you?

also I'm going to go out today and tune my cruise map because cruise is in the 10.5:1 range. Will tuning the cruise map mess up anythings else on the tune?

normal mode. would like to do matrix but I can't even tune in regular mode let alone matrix mode I got lots of tinkering to do I just don't want to mess up the tune enough to blow the motor up. That's why I'm asking if I screw around with the cruise map will it mess anything else up like load map wot map etc...

I found out what I need to do. Based off of the threads I've found on the microtechefi website I can change the vacuum point at which cruise is activated, stock is set at 15hg. I just checked my logs and sure enough I'm curising around at 6" to 10" and on the very very occational vacuum past the 15" I start to see afr's in the 13.5-13.5 area. So my question is will changing the point at which cruise is activated change anything else in the map? Or will I be safe changing this?

This tuning thing sucks, lol. I'm lowering the mixtrim and RPMcrs_Map settings and now get anywhere from 12.0:1 to 14:0 afr's which is really weird it's so speratic like that but anyways my concern is with egts. I'm seeing anywhere from 1100 to 1600 degrees durring cruise wich is just crazy so I'm guessing timing is way off? What should my cruise egt's be? As soon as I idle it settles down to about 990-1000*F. I need a tuner... I think I'm just going to spend the money to get someone to tune my ****. lol.

Ok sounds good, thanks. Is it normal to have say -16 and -17 on the cruise map? I think the map you gave me had -10 and -11.

I would set it at -15 most of the time . 10 11 will work but -15-16 is also fine.

well the more I take out there the leaner cruise gets right? Also here is a snap shot of my data logger. You can see plain as day where it starts to get lean and were it peaks and at what rpm and boost. This happens everytime. When I'm really getting on it and switch from 2nd to 3rd gear it really peaks hard in the 17 range. At this peak lean spot it's 13.30.

Thanks I'll try those out and let you know. here is what it looks like when I'm really getting on it, scary...

Ok just checked an I've got 2.48 already in my 2psi screen and I don't know if I told you or not but this microtech has a 4bar map sensor in it so I sort of adapted your map for a 4bar map. Anyways @ 2psi I've got 2.48 and at 6psi I've got 3.61
