Aux In configured as anti-lag?

I'd like to know if anyone has configured their auxiliary input to run anti-lag? If yes, how?

Yes it can be done.
I use a switch on the clutch pedal to trigger it.
You then go to the AUX screen & adjust INP RPMLIM to set your rev limit,INP TIMING to retard the timing when the limit is on & INP ENRICH to add fuel.
Set the timing to -30Deg & the fuel to +20% to start with & go from there.
Then it's simply a matter of putting your foot on the clutch & holding the accelerator pedal to the floor!!!!!!!

gives you boost while sitting still in nuetral so that you can launch with it instead of having to wait for it.

G'day RXENG,

Im Dave from Ballarat, Australia, i just tried this setupon my ltx12, and in the INO ENRICH section it has values from 0-12. i assumed they are injector times??? I couldnt see a percentage there.
Also , due you need to have full throttle to make it work? Just scared me a bit practicing in the shed. AAnd whats ur rev limit set to when the clutch is engaged.
ANy more info would be great.
Thanx
Dave

is it possible to use the starter kill switch that's already on the clutch pedal?

Yes, I am using the starter switch on the clutch and on my stock turbo. I can get ~ 9psi on a 4500rpm limiter on my stock turbo.

When the car was together.

However, I popped my motor while doing this, I do not know if it was fuel slosh in the tank or if the limiter did it. I am skiddish to try it again.

I tried setting this up but i am not gettting any enrichment. The handset says "input", the rev limiter is in place and the timing is being retarded but no more fuel is being thrown in, any guesses y?

don't use it
We have had bad results with it

its too hard of a rev limit
most everyone uses MSD's 2 step (soft rev limit)

kabooski - Did you blow your motor initiating this setup? What RPM did you set the limiter to? Would setting the RPM slightly lower hurt less?

rxeng - Have you had many blown motors from use of the Microtech anti-lag?

no

what I'm saying is its hard to setup correctly

there sponsored car Jesus padiilla tried using it for it example
got "better results" using the digital MSD box for 2-step
Thats what I'm saying you will get better 2-step results using a standalone ign box

but no matter what 2-step one uses if you stay on it too long you will damage your motor

I'm sorta confused about how wiring into the clutch switch works...

First, which wire from the clutch switch is the proper one to splice into (black or yellow?)

Second, say I wired to the clutch switch. After engaging all the settings for 2step on the software, does that mean whenever I step on my clutch the 2step will engage? So lets say I was at the strip... If I had launched on 2step, and shift to 2nd, 3rd... etc, would that mean everytime I step on the clutch to shift, my 2step would engage for a second?

Sorry for the questions... I'm just really confused on how this all works.

Sorry, nevermind about the toggle switch question.

Infini, I THINK they may be using the starter interlock switch on the clutch. i.e. the forward switch (closest to the firewall). This would only engage w/ the clutch to the floor. If you're shifting quickly, this switch probably never gets engaged. However, even if they are talking about the rear switch (closest to the driver -- for cruise disengaging I think), you probably would be okay.

The idea is that it's simply going to act like a rev limiter when your clutch is depressed, right? I don't know, I may be thinking about this wrong, but when your clutch is depressed (even while shifting), I can't think it would be a bad thing to limit your revs to a certain point. If you used the front switch, it would only limit your revs with the clutch completely depressed. Depending on how your clutch is adjusted, you might get enough disengagment to shift w/o engaging that switch?

Probably need a more expert opinion on this, but this is what I'm gathering when reading the thread. hth.

I wired it up to a similar switch as the clutch switch, except its on my arm rest, and I just rest my elbow on it to activate the 2step.

I haven't messed with it much... only tried setting the rpm limit to 3000rpm and got 1psi boost. Then I tried 3500rpm and got 4psi. I have an exhaust leak pre-turbo though, so I'll get that fixed and maybe will get more boost at 3500rpm.

Here's a question though: rxeng recommended adding 20% more fuel. How do I determine what is 20% though? I didn't mess with adding too much fuel. I set the INPenrich value to 3.00 (mS..?)... Is this enough? or should I set it higher or lower? I set timing to -30* as recommended.

Also, the limit doesn't seem to hit very hard... or is it because I've only set it to 3500rpm?

Perhaps someone who has tried this can chime in a bit (kabooski, rxeng, 10sec rx7)?

Messed with it more today after fixing my pre-turbo exhaust leak.

4000rpm revlimit
-30* timing
+6.86ms fuel

It sounded more like a revlimit now... bounces faster, but still only gets 4psi boost. I don't want to bring the revlimit up much higher because I'm unsure about the amount of fuel to add....
