Anybody have a Map for my car that will work better?

Guys, I'm headed to sevenstock friday and I'll be getting the LTX-8 tuned on monday. Does anyone have a map I can use as the standard map doesn't work well anymore. I have a TID and BR exhaust with a BNR stage 3. Other than that, I'm stock. I'd like to get a map for the new turbo that will run better to Ca. Any help will be appreciated.

Sorry, I forgot to say the reason the stock map is so bad is because I have 1600cc secondary injectors. So, anybody got someting close they have dealt with?

read the topic "how injector staging works"

aside from that i dont think anyone will be able to answer your question as there is far too many variables that will affect how the engine runs on a map. none of us want to be held accountable for popping your motor because for some reason it may have run lean.

read and understand the booklet supplied and you should be able to get the car drivable with some basic adjustments without a wideband O2.

good luck.

I'd be interested in seeing someone else map just for comparison purposes. I have a wideband and I've done the tuning on my car so far, and I'd just like to see how other people went about tuning so I can maybe try some of there settings a little and see what happens. I'm running low 10 AFRs under boost and I'd keep and eye on it when playing with it, and I'm obviously not going to pull like 3m/s off my injectors and try it at 20psi or anything.

I'm running open intake/exhaust, walbro, stock turbo, FMIC, and 1680cc secondaries I know its not easy to post a microtech map because you can't just save it all in one file, but if anyone has a map on something close to that I'd LOVE to take a look at it.

Yes he's Pax on the slc site.

Karl doesn't post on the site, but he's very much a rotary-guru.

He runs an orange FD at the dragstrip, you might have seen it. I believe he's in the 8 second range in the 1/4 now.

I dont believe there is any way to send a map anyways. Unless we individually wrote out in an excell sheet every parameter And that would take quite a long time. One of microtech's only flaws is the fact you cant save your map for later use.

Im sure its not hard at all to implement, especially since its windows based...
I mean it pisses me off that MT has been out for a while, and they couldnt have come up with this since the begining..

honestly it dosent bother me, every car is different and i never use another map of another car, they just never work the same, i always tune every car from what is there...

i only have one map that i would load into another car and that is for a toyota 20 valve engine, just because it saves about 40min of dicking around due to the quad throttle bodies...
