Zeal Engineering Megasquirt and Top Mount

I plan on purchasing a Megasquirt ECU built by Zeal once they are released. What is the max boost I can run with the top mount and the mods listed below? Also what AFR should I shoot for, I was thinking around the 12.5:1 area.

There are answers to your question, the answers reside in the search blank. umm If my memory serves me right its about 10psi, but you should search to verify that.

Perhaps your memory could serve you right if you searched, too, hm? Telling him to search is one thing. Telling him to search, and then providing misinformation is just SHITTY.

The stock top mount is out of efficiency at around 12-13psi. BUT, there is one guy on here who pushes some 26psi through it, but..he has alcohol injection pre-turbo.

But uh..why stay topmount? A FMIC can be built for like, $300! Theres some piping kits on E-bay for $99 bucks, and a good core is under $250. There is actually a thread about this, just a few down right now...

I would guess you are still on the stock turbo, though. So..you probably shouldn't run more then 12-13psi anyways.

Im going steps at a time, I guess you could say. Im getting the megasquirt first because I know its coming soon and its a good deal. Id like to get that dialed in before messing with an FMIC. I know that if I change too many things at once, and a problem occurs, its going to be a hassle and a half trying to track it down. Also, the turbo is a BNR Stage 2 so 12-13 PSI is no problem for it. I plan on going FMIC at some point, Id just like to get the megasquirt up and running well.

I'd say about 12-13 PSI max. the TMIC on an s5 TII is inefficient at 14 psi IIRC...I'm not sure where I heard that...
