What should the MAPdot be?

under the acceleration setting, what should i have the MAPdot set to? I found on someones post that they had it at 1000. Then i have seen quite a few at 100. I have mine at 1000 currently and the car is nearly undriveable. Could this be my mistake?

okay i read deeper. I think that my running issue lies in my acceleration enrichment settings.

so new batch of questions:

1. The Low rpm threshold is currently 2500, the high Rpm threshold is 5000. Does this mean that is will only use AE between these Rpm ranges?

2. For the Accel Wizard

My current setup is 100% TPS based. Again, these number were given to me.

50%/s at 7.0 m/s.
25%/s at 5.0 m/s.
5.0%/s at 3.5 m/s
1.0%/s at 2.0m/s

TPSdot threshold is a 1.0.

After reviewing some things, i think the threshold SHOULD be higher and the TPS based settings are probably incorrect. I am going to use the defaults from the megamanual tuning section (page 30 of 46) and see how that changes things.

3. Another issue i have been experiencing is as soon as the O2 warms up it tends to become stopped at 12.10 afr and no longs reads. At the same time my Manifold Air Temp goes from working to flat out incorrect. Meaning, will say 100*F then drop to 15*F. These events seem to coincide. Any ideas on what this could be?

You need to look at your logs and see what's happening on your car using someone else's car's numbers. The goal is to tune the numbers so you do not have an excessively lean or rich transient at accel - the amount of fuel in the AE event coupled with how long it's added are the components to tune for this facet of AE. Another very important part of the AE tuning process is setting the threshholds so you get AE when it's needed while avoiding inappropriate AE events. Too sensitive and you're trippping an AE event when it's not necessary - rough on cats, fuel mileage, your nerves and your pocket. Not sensitive enough and you'll be encountering lean transients when your engine needs AE but the settings are incorrect and it's not triggered. Logging, log analysis and a "feel" for your install will get you you where you need to be much quicker than just typing and hoping or relying on someone else's tune. Suggested numbers from someone else's install are a great starting spot provided it's a similar install but it's very unlikely that you can just plug 'em in and have it work perfect. Not trying to pee in the cornflakes, just relating personal observations from 5+ years of MS development on my rotary.

i think it would be easier if i could solve the issue number three. Once the manifold air temp starts saying its 15 degrees the car acts much different plus i lose my O2 reading

You do need to solve that one, for sure. Did it work correctly at one time and now does not? Zip up a log and post it; that would help.
