turbo convertable

My friend just bought an FD. So he just wants to get rid of T2 convertable. it wasnt running that great with the factory computer so i plug in my spare megasquirt. It was so much easier tuning with the same size injectors and the stock turbo. it ran pretty good. boost was hitting 7psi on the gauge but i think megatune said it was more like 6psi or 145kpa. just gotta tune some holes in the map and it should be good to go. Its got me thinking whether i should buy this car. its pretty fun. My t2 with the 60-1 might have to be tuned on the dyno. running with 550 primaries and 1000 secondaries . ive been switching back and forth from staged injection and dual tables trying to get best results. its a long time consuming process.

Staged injection will be easier to tune, but you should be able to get a good transition one way or another ... with TPS and/or with the staging transition code and dual parameter code.

You'll be able to get better results with the dual table code though.
