Megasquirt Tuning trailing negative split on E85
Tuning trailing negative split on E85
Okay, my fuel map is getting so close to being done, ~12-13 at idle, ~17 at cruise and high load dips a bit more than I like down to ~12 but I'll get that. Aiming for a nice taper to ~13.4 at high rpm/load, thinking about paying to get VEAL. And before some of you start barking at me saying that's too lean for E85, I know that technically would be but my gauge is set for 14.7 stoich on gas.
I want to start on my timing map and I've started reading up on a few different threads about timing and came across negative split and how it produces higher cylinder pressures which I'm assuming equals more torque, can help get a rock solid idle, and potentially help fuel mileage.
What are some good numbers, or does somebody have a decent map that I can just bump up a bit and then tune back down?
