Tach stuff, and Trailing not firing at <700 rpm

Ok, I know the code turns off the trailing spark below 700 rpm, I was just wondering why, and what I can do to get it to work at those speeds. Also, the stock tach is reading about 200 rpm off from the MS output, is there an adjustment I can do to get the two to agree? Thanks

I believe Ken can chime in on the why about the trailing. I had a tach "off" by almost 500 rpm ... there is an adjustment pot on the back of the stock tach ... pita to do though...

The code turns off trailing below 700 rpms, because spark below that point requires the use of the "low-speed" section of the code. Trailing was never implemented there since doing so is fairly complicated.

I had a code that fired trailing at the same time as leading, but it still had a small problem right when it goes from low-speed to high-speed.

If I have time I'll look at the code again to see if there's anything I can do to make it work.

this is more of a convenience type thing, so we can know the engine speed when cranking etc, not really an operating or driving problem, so if you have a chance to look at it, then great, but if not, its no big deal either. Also, what program do you use to see/modify/write the code in? Thanks!
