staged injection settings

I am having a huge spike in fuel when my staged injection turns on. I have my car pretty well tuned. It drives great and has good power, but when my staged inj. turns on my afr's drop to between 9 and 10.5 for a plit second and then they return to a normal range. I have tried to adjust the settings for a smooth transition. I have raised the rpm from about 3500 to 3800 and the the transition ign events from 70 to 250, and taken my primary reduction delay to 0.

Am I missing something or have I shot myself in the foot with my settings. I have stock primary inj. and 720cc secondaries.

Thanks for all your help. With out this forum I would still not have a running car.

Sounds like you have an MS1?

Do you have your scaling factor set correctly to your injector sizes?

I'm running ms2 w/3.0 board. Yes my injectors are entered correctly. I didn't notice the drop in afr until I got my tune closer to ideal. I am running low z secondaries with 10 ohm resisters. could that be my issue?

What's your firmware level? I think the new firmware on the MS2 supports duty based staging which may help you. Honestly I'm a bit out of touch with the MS2 firmware as I don't have one handy...

We support duty-based staging and table-based staging in the latest firmware revisions. I would recommend using table-based.

I believe 3.1.0 already has table-based. I'll have to double check.

figured out how to use the table. I'll play with it and see if I can fix my issue. Does anyone who is using the table want to send me their settings as something to go off of?

That's more or less similar to my NA staging settings.
